I drew this thx deep note imitation in photosounder by drawing several lines with the white spray with the harmonics modifier. I first had a look at the original thx sound and tried to reproduce what i saw. The final chorus sounds bad because it's hand-drawn, so the right notes aren't hit plus the lines aren't straight so the pitches keep moving around a bit.

This is a nightingale in a very quiet environment, which is played 4 times slower. The gaps between the verses are removed, otherwise there would be always round about 20 seconds silence. I needed the sound effect for a car arriving. These were recorded in my driveway. 2011 honda element, waliking to car, starting it, backing down driveway, driving back up driveway, stopping car and walking away. I was creating a kick drum sound using a model d synthesizer to see if i could and i realized the upper register had some very interesting percussive blips. I recorded starting with c or c# below middle c and upward for usable sounds and thought they might be interesting and useful for someone else as well.
